The 15th Annual Lloyds List DCN Australian Shipping and Transport Awards will this year take place at one of Sydneys trendiest venues, the Ivy Ballroom in George Street on 25 November 2010.

This gala event continues to be one of the industry most important functions on the Australian maritime and transport calendar as it recognises excellence in individual and corporate performances.

In all 13 awards will be presented including liner trade awards, announcement of Australias premier port for the past 12 months, the highly sought-after Transport and Logistics Intermodal Award, recognition of achievements in safety, security, freight forwarding and contributions to the welfare of seafarers. We are also pleased to introduce a new award this year to recognize achievement in project cargo handling.

Individuals will also be recognized through the New Generation Award and the Newsmaker of the Year while another important contribution to Australian transport industry will be rewarded with an induction into the Australian Trade and Transport Hall of Fame.

We are keen to involve as many companies and individuals as possible in the awards through the nomination process. Overleaf you will find all the categories and their criteria. It is import to realize that companies or individuals may nominate themselves for an award, customers can nominate suppliers and suppliers can nominate customers. Previous nominations will also be welcome.
